Videoscope System Olympus offers the latest generation of IPLEX videoscope systems, the IPLEX FX, a compact, full-featured video borescope, combining portability and military ruggedness with a complete set of advanced videoscope features. Fuel Test Fuel Quality Services Inc. (FQS) offers its latest breakthrough for the rapid determination of microbial contamination in fuel systems. The HY-LiTE fuel test is a quantitative bioluminescence assay that will indicate the presence of aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms in fuel and water associated with fuel by quantifying the amount of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) present in the sample. ATP is a biochemical that is unique to all living organisms which is responsible for energy metabolism. Analysis takes less than 10 minutes and the results are directly proportional to the quantity of ATP present in the sample. Whether in the field or in a laboratory, the fuel test can be used for microbial testing of a variety of fuels such as aviation, diesel, gasoline, and biodiesel blends. The fuel test will detect the presence of any metabolically active microorganism, some of which are not always detected by traditional growth-based methods termed as viable but not culturable (VBNC). Waste Oil Heater HVAC Division (REZNOR) adds Models RA-250 and RAD-250 waste oil heaters to its line of products designed for recycling used oils into free shop heat. The Model RA is a standard unit space heater while the Model RAD is a ductable furnace, designed for ducting heat to wherever it is needed. Both models are rated for 250,000 Btu input.
