FlightSafety Promotes Spencer Power to Assistant Manager Fort Worth Learning Center

LaGuardia Airport, New York (November 11, 2009) – FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that Spencer Power has been promoted to Assistant Manager of the company’s Learning Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The center provides training for pilots who operate aircraft manufactured by Bell Helicopter.

“Our Customers appreciate and value Spencer’s in-depth knowledge of FlightSafety’s training programs, his understanding of their requirements and commitment to ensure they receive the high quality training and excellent service they deserve,” said Barbara Taylor, Manager, Fort Worth Learning Center.

Spencer joined FlightSafety International in February 2007 at the company’s Bell Helicopter Learning Center in Fort Worth, Texas as Manager, Product Marketing.

Prior to joining FlightSafety, he held sales and marketing positions with Spencer Power Photography, SAFFE Property & Casualty Insurance and Honda Financial Services. Spencer also worked with the Oklahoma State University aircraft maintenance department while he was a student.

He holds a fixed-wing commercial license with instrument rating and complex, high performance, tail wheel and high-altitude endorsements. He most recently attained his helicopter license and now holds private-pilot privileges for rotor-wing aircraft.

Spencer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Sciences with a major in Aviation Management from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He also earned a Master of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

FlightSafety has provided factory authorized training for aircraft manufactured by Bell Helicopter for more than 30 years. The company currently offers training programs for Bell 212, Bell 214ST, Bell 222, Bell 230, Bell 412 and Bell 430 aircraft at its Learning Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
